Description

A PAIR OF IVORY TUSKS, PROBABLY 19TH CENTURY. The first with carved with carved scenes of village life and animals, mounted on a wooden base. Length 33.25 inches (84 cm). Together with an uncarved specimen displaying brownish orange patina and age checkering. Length 32 inches (81 cm).

Provenance: The Estate of Dr. Edward P. Gerber (1928-2013), Reno, NV.
