Impressive, large-scale work in intense colors, photographs by Michael Najjar fetch up over 6,200 euros at international auctions

These large size color photography of the German photo artist Michael Najjar (1966) was created 2000 in Berlin and shows a scene at night, titled ‘Jenseits der Zeit’ (Beyond Time). A Japanese lady in blurred appearance is visible at the right edge of the picture. Behind her appears a Japanese diner as well as the moon in the upper left corner. The background is shrouded in a deep midnight blue and the work is on the reverse signed in the lower area.



The photography of Michael Najjar (1966) is in very good condition with minimal scratch marks to the surface. The work is numbered ‘2/6’ on the back. There is also a mount for the suspension on the back. The photography measures 176 x 120 cm.



Michael Najjar (b. 1966)

Michael Najjar was born in October 1966 in Landau in der Pfalz and deals with the media of photography and video. In the center of his works is the connection of realistic elements with fictitious facts. The main component of his work is a controlled society by computer and information technology. The artist is considered as visual futurist who joins the subjects science, history and philosophy in visions of utopias of future social structures. He reveals things that often remain hidden to the human eye. Since 1998 Najjar represents his works in many national and international exhibitions.
