American Rococo Revival Carved Mahogany Drop Front Secretary, 19th c., possibly New Orleans, the stepped top over a mirrored fall front, with an inset cloth lined writing surface, the interior fitted with bird's eye maple cubby holes and drawers with ivory pulls, all on a pierced foliate trestle base on bracket feet, joined by a serpetine stretcher, H.- 55 1/2 in., W.- 26 in., D.- 14 in.

Condition consistent with age and use. Moderate wear to the wood with some nicks and hairline cracks throughout. There is some very light white spotting on the surface of the wood in some areas, possibly from moisture. The top surface has light surface scratches and a 2” water stain in the back left corner. Clean overall look.
