Description

Rare Pair of Cut Crystal and Glass Twelve Light Chandeliers, 20th c., with three cut crystal bulbous supports separated by crystal bowls hung with button and long spear prisms, to a large bottom cut crystal bowl issuing the twelve scrolled twisted glass arms, hung with long spear and button prisms, with floriform candle cups and bobeches, and a central cut crystal ball, H.- 58 in., Dia.- 37 in.

Condition

Condition consistent with age. Both chandeliers are observed with some dust to the crystals with mild losses and chips to some of the crystals; approximately 7 crystals on one and approximately 5 crystals on the other, with some pieces included. One bowl on the upright has a break and loss; approximately 1/3 of bowl now lacking. The base globes are noted with a green residue. A stunning pair.
