MURRLE BENNETT & CO. - an early 20th century 9ct gold foil-back garnet pendant. Designed as a graduated pear and circular-shape foil-back garnet fringe, suspended from a graduated oval-shape foil-back garnet and scrolling panel surmount. Maker's marks for Murrle Bennett & Co. Length 5.1cms. Weight 4.2gms.

Condition

The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Stamped 9ct. The diamonds appear bright and well matched, estimated total diamond weight . Individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. The garnets are foil back. The garnets appear a well matched medium deep red hue. Some varying inclusions.
