Magna Graecia, Apulia, ca. 5th century BCE. A black-slipped miniature terracotta krater painted with red-figure palmettes on both sides. Low base, flared rim, and handles. Miniatures like this were not used in day to day situations, but were placed in the tomb for use in the afterlife. 2"H.
