Greece, Hellenistic Period, ca. 3rd - 1st Century BCE.
A spectacular carved alabaster Alabastron, with long body, two small handles on either side of body, and flat flared rim. A central drilled spout hole opens up into a wide and hollow interior body. 7-1/2"H. Cf. "The Red and the Black" (Sparkes, 1996) Pg. 74.
