The present silver reading pointer is adorned with beautiful geometric patterns and gilded in the areas between the décor, which enhances the piece with a nice contrast. The object shows a typical shape and is fitted with a pierced attachment lug at the rear. The shaft is decorated with three inlaid carnelians.
The reading pointer is in very good overall condition, showing slight wear marks. It has a length of 24.5 cm and a maximum width of 1.5 cm. The weight of the silver pointer is about 39 grams.
