A tall Roman glass footed cup, c. 4th - 5th Century AD, in near colorless glass with attractive iridescence, the body, with a ridge near the base, is tall and graceful, and widens to a flared mouth with rounded rim, the pedestal foot deeply indented on base and separated from the body by a rounded element. Intact with minor age crack on rim, deposits throughout. Ex West Sussex, England Private Collection, acquired over half a century through auctions, dealers and antiques fairs.
