Description
Pair of Enameled Metal Vases, China, late 19th century, of square baluster form with handles at the neck, the side panels depicting scenes of several of the Eight Daoist Immortals, Shou Lao, Wang Xizhi, Shen Tong, and Ma Gu, their names written above in calligraphy, the necks of the vases decorated with lobed cartouches of flowers, a scrolling peony design covering the necks and the feet, ht. 12 7/8 in.
