Few bags have stood the test of time as well as Chanel's Flap Bag. Originally introduced in February 1955 as the 2.55 bag it has been produced with slight variations since then. When Karl Lagerfeld became the brand's creative director in 1983 he created what is now known as the classic flap, a take on Coco Chanel's 2.55 bag by adding the CC logo at the turnlock closure and interweaving leather into the chain strap. This flap bag offers the classic medium shape with a lady like brocade exterior. This bag is incredibly special and eye catching. The gold hardware accents the shine in the exterior fabric perfectly. Exterior features one slip pocket at the back of the bag. Interior is done in beige leather and contains two slip pockets surrounding main compartment. Main compartment contains two utility pockets. Interior is beige leather.

This bag is in Very Good to Excellent condition. Fabric of the bag is slightly frayed. Scratching of interior leather and two white marks at underside of double flap.
