Description

Pre-war German Mauser .22 caliber training rifle, with Zeiss optics on Akah scope mount. Mauser logo on right side of butt-stock. Receiver marked on left side "MAUSER-WERKE A G OBERNDORF" Left side of barrel marked "PATRONE 22 LONG RIFLE" with serial number and nitro proof. Scope marked with "Carl Zeiss Jena" logo, and "Zielklein". Patent marks on right side of barrel and scope mount. Bore is bright and clean, and bluing remains about 85%+. Expected wear and patina to stock, but no cracks or damage. Scope shows significant finish loss and pitting, but optics remain clear and sharp. Overall very good condition for the age. Caliber: .22 LR Serial #: 11364 This lot has a reserve.
