These apothecary jars were made in England and date to the 19th century. They are of a bulbous form. The green and brown glass bottles each bear a painted label lettered in black and gold with the respective contents: ‘ACET:DIST’, ‘VIN:COLCH:’ and ‘LIQ:P.SULPHURAC:’.
The jars are in good condition with signs of age and wear. One bottle shows a repaired damage. The inscription is partly rubbed. One jar is sealed with a cork. The small bottles measure 26 cm in height, the large measures 36 cm.
