A rare oak cased dwarf longcase clock byWinterhalder & Hoffmeier, circa 1900. Having a 6"(15cm) brass dial, the silvered chapter ring withRoman hours, Arabic minutes and cruciform halfhour divisions. The two-train spring drivenmovement outside count wheel striking on a coiledgong, the fine quality case of early 18th centurydesign with ogee moulded cornice over pollardedfrieze, bulging columns and a 4" wide ogee archedmoulded long door between quadrant columns on acanted panelled base with bracket feet. 51.5"(131cm) high
