A mid 20th century jade and diamond pendant. The circular-cut diamond and textured foliate scattered panel, to the slightly tapered rectangular-shape jadeite panel sides, each carved with a fruit and foliate design. May be worn as a brooch. Estimated total diamond weight 0.40ct. Length 4.2cms. Weight 23.2gms.

The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Stamped 585. Possible Asian character mark. The diamonds appear bright and well matched. Jadeite untested for natural colour origin. The jadeite are a well matched mottled slightly bluish green hue. Semi-translucent. Each jadeite panel has a small drill hole near the top, possibly converted from another item of jewellery.
