Joy - Marc Chagall. Limited edition Giclee lithograph on archival watercolor paper. The signature is in the plate. Edition size is 500. Certificate of Authenticity is included. Approx. 24 x 30. 20% of proceeds go to charity. Marc Chagall (1887-1985) was a Russian artist of a devout Jewish family. In 1907 Chagall entered the famous Art School in St. Petersburg while working as a sign painter. Throughout his works, there is a foundation of Russian artistic techniques. In 1919 Chagall was in Paris and became influenced by the Cubist period of art. Please note: A giclee print is the highest Quality print available today, because there is no visible dot screen pattern. The resulting image has all the subtle tonalities of the original art.
