Exceptional group of pencil and colored pencil drawings executed on an Air France tablet of writing paper, by/attributed to Salvador Dali (1904-1989). The front cover of the tablet is inscribed "Pour Amelia Hommage de Dali," followed by 12 pages of drawings, each featuring a horse or horse and rider. The tablet, probably circa 1970's, measures 11 3/4 x 8 1/4 inches. Very good overall condition. The tablet also contains several unused sheets.

Provenance: Presumably given to Amelia White (Sydney, Australia), who met the artist while traveling. Amelia was apparently a young girl at the time and had a special interest in horses. The tablet of sketches was sold privately to a book dealer and subsequently acquired by the consignor's family, circa 1985 or earlier.
