Second half 19th century, Baltimore, MD, with maker's mark, further marked ''11 oz'', the domed cover with floral finial and compressed ovoid body elaborately repousse-decorated with rose blossoms and foliage surrounding a castle in a landscape to the front and an equestrian and dogs chasing deer to the back, flanked by scrolled foliate handles and issuing a spigot with a bird-form handle, on a conformingly decorated oval foot with spiral-twist borders, with burner, engraved with an armorial crest to rear of body, he S.
