Condition is new, good workmanship. The featured tanzanite is set within a stylized diamond set geometric gallery supported by tapering shoulders, completed by a three millimeter wide band. Identified with markings of "14K". Containing: One prong set oval cabochon cut natural tanzanite, measuring 13.80 x 10.00 x 7.55mm, 10%. bulge factor, approximate weight of 10.47ct., clarity is moderately included, type I, medium dark, moderately strong, bluish violet color, (GIA bV 6/4), cut is good. The gem is interesting because of its exceptional pleochroism. Rotated in different directions a tanzanite will exhibit multiple changes of color.
