Description
Pair of Beech and Hancock Vases with floral design and dark emerald green glaze. Both have been drilled for lamp bases.Beech & Hancock took over the Church Bank Works in Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, from R. Bewsick in 1857 (1860 according to Jewitt) and continued there until 1861 they then moved to the Swan Pottery, Swan Bank, High Street in Tunstall from 1862 to 1876. One does have a repair to neck and the other a glaze fleck measuring about 1". Measure 14" x 9"
