early 20th century, probably Malayer, center medallion with repeating boteh, bird, and linear decorations on a cobalt ground, multiple borders with floral, geometric and animal designs, olive, red, and ivory highlights, 3 ft. 11 in. x 5 ft. 10 in., generally low pile, bleeding, abrash, corrosion of browns, creasewear, areas of infill the largest approximately 3 x 3 in. at center with patch verso, approximately 2 x 2 in. patch at edge, approximately 2 in. end loss with later binding, no reductions found. Notes: Due to the embargo on Persian carpets, international shipping is not available for this lot..
