Description
ENGLISH STAFFORDSHIRE POTTERY PEARLWARE PEAFOWL SUGAR BOWL AND COVER, the tapering cylindrical body with molded ring handles to the sides and a ball-form knop, painted with a fancy bird on brown branches surrounded by green-sponged branches, front and back; the cover with the sponging and sparse loops forming a band of decoration around the knop; under blue band and ocher line. Circa 1800-1810. 4 1/2" HOA.

Condition
Very good condition, the bowl with two short hairlines off the rim and a flake to one handle, the cover with a few small chips to the inner flange.
