Bon Jovi originated as a big-haired, glam-rock band in the early 80s and quickly had many critics predicting a short shelf life for the New Jersey based group. But their dedicated legions of fans proved them wrong. Led by handsome frontman Jon Bon Jovi the band would go on to release an astounding 33 albums in the US with total worldwide records sales exceeding 100 million.

When record sales reached the 100 million point, the band created a series of custom-made shadowbox displays to honor the occasion, and this particular one was dedicated to Dick Clark. Framed in heavy gold-colored wood, the display has etched on the glass:

This display features miniature graphics of their album covers printed in a gold-toned ink. Photographs of the band members, all dressed in gold lamé, fill the rest of the frame. The dedication to Dick Clark, inscribed on a small gold-toned metallic plaque with black, reads:
