WILLIAM J. BOLTON, Civil War Union Major General who fought in numerous battles, including Antietam, Fredericksburg and Cold Harbor.
Rare original Salt Print Photograph, Signed, “Maj. Gen. William J. Bolton,” 5.25” x 3.25” placed on a slightly larger card, Choice Mint. This exceptional quality photograph is on a matboard to an overall size of 14” x 11” grading Choice Near Mint. Bolton rose through the Union ranks during his service with the 51st Pennsylvania Infantry, starting as a Captain and eventually rising to command.
