Porcelain Manufactory Fraureuth
The porcelain manufactory Fraureuch was founded by Georg Bruno Foedisch and Arved von Römer in 1866; they used the name ‘Porzellanmanufaktur Römer & Foedisch’. Their porcelain pieces won a number of medals and prizes at international exhibitions. The company was renamed to ‘Porzellanfabrik Fraureuth AG’ in 1891. The old maker’s mark was replaced with the mirrored monogram ‘PF’ in a circle, under a hat, in 1899. The company went international eleven years later, recording its highest-ever profits in 1916.
