The Berger Kind / The Berger Child
The advertising figure of the Berger Kind has been invented by the architect Sigmund von Suchodolski. It shows a child in a dress similar to that of Santa Claus that drinks from a cup of hot chocolate. The child advertised the chocolate of the company that had been founded by Roland Berger in 1876 in Pössneck, Germany. The company was renamed Berggold GmbH in 1955 and is still active.
