This is in excellent condition.Antonio Asencio grew up in a hacienda in Baja California Sur. It is a desolate region with few inhabitants. Antonio describes his childhood playground in the following manner,"My neighborhood was a wonderful place for a child to grow up in. All around me was a marvelous lunar like terrain, with lizards, rocks, cactus and huge mango trees. In the desolation there are spectacular ruins doting the landscape." When he left his small town he studied abroad in San Diego and decided upon his return to paint all that was around him. Many of his pieces are named for actual locations which he used as the themes of this watercolor series.
