Description

Large Pair of Oriental Covered Baluster Urns, 20th c., the sides with landscape decoration and integral Foo dog handles, the lid with a Foo dog surmount, H.- 23 1/2 in., Dia.- 13 1/4 in.

Condition

Condition consistent with age. One with a ½ inch crack to rim, under lid, with a slight hairline fracture extending downwards. Same vase is noted with two small areas of brown discoloration between Foo dog handles, and a small area of brown discoloration on one Foo dog handle. Overall impressive pair.
