Description

AMERICAN RENAISSANCE REVIVAL SILVERED AND GILT-BRONZE MANTEL CLOCK,
With a female figure finial and a pair of flanking putto on dolphins.

Height 20 in., Width 10 in., Depth 6 in.

Condition

1875, American Renaissance Period. As far as the clock's condition, the upper left side mount is loose and we are missing the bold needed to secure it to the clock. Physically it's in very good condition. The bronze is slightly tarnished green from humidity exposure. The "silvered" white metal mounts are tarnishing dark grey/black. The pendulum has been detached (to keep it safe while we move it) as you can see in the photos. The movement appears to be functional and in good condition however we (A.B. Levy's) make no guarantees that the movement is in working order. Overall the clock is in good condition, unusual, and has great presence.
