Baroque-Style Nickel Silver Cartel Clock, fourth quarter 19th century, with earlier works signed by Robert Robin (1742-1799), the cartouche-form clock case decorated with molded fruit and swags of ribbon, set with works marked "Robin H du Roy, a Paris", h. 22-1/2", w. 29".

There is some damage to the metal frame at the corners of the arched crest. Other minor imperfections due to age. There is some chipping to the porcelain around the keyholes for winding. No key. We are uncertain of its working condition. Since the clock is very heavy, we presume the various holes were designed to have mounting screws or decorative fasteners to hold it to the wall.
