LARGE PAIR OF JAPANESE KUTANI STYLE VASES, 19TH CENTURY
Decorated in iron-red, gilt and enameled with large Samurai style headdress over large decorative reserves of two pairs of traditional Japanese figures, each with a touch of black enamel on the birds, flowers, symbols with Japanese style medallions and other decor, with stylized relief figural elephant head handles; Japanese six-character calligraphy makers mark: Hichozan Fukagawa Sei.
