Large Pair of Japanese Satsuma Porcelain Vases with Hardwood Stands
first quarter 20th century, each of baluster form, with pedestal base and everted lip, mounted with gilt fish-form handles to either side of a short neck, decorated to the exterior with scenes of Kwan Yin standing on a lotus throne, holding a large blossoming lotus flower, surrounded by arhats and attendants, with two-character mark in copper red to the base, possibly 'Seizan'.
