Description
Beautiful Art Glass Peach Mother of pearl diamond quilted glass pitcher attributed to 1850's with imperfectly grooved handle and manufacturing imperfections. There is no second one look alike and most likely last survivor among fine examples a genuine artistry of famous antique glass maker. Small roughness on the bottom is not a flaw, but so-called pontil - where an iron rod, used in glass making for handling the hot glass, was attached, has small chip inside rim and small air bobbles and production imperfections. Stands 8.75 inch tall and 7 inch across
