Description
The Porsche 964 was introduced in 1989 with a host of changes from the outgoing 911. Most significant was the introduction of four wheel drive, power steering and ABS. The engine capacity was now 3600cc and produced 250bhp and the rear suspension was uprated to coil springs and dampers. Such was the success that in five years of production over 62,000 derivatives left the factory.
Offered here is a Porsche 911 Carrera 4 in what is regarded as one of the best colour combinations of Metallic Black with black interior and in excellent condition. The extensive history file shows that it was originally purchased by Ludwig Harold of Monchengladbach in March 1992. The history file contains the original Porsche Touring Pass. It was first registered in the UK in 1999 and resided with its new owner in Porchester Square, London. It has had only two owners since then. There is a clutch of MOTS with a current until May 2015 and showing 213,737 kilometres. In May 2014 it was subject to a very comprehensive service (£2500.00) with Steve Bull Specialist Cars and there are a further 24 stamps in the service book.
With Porsche values showing no sign of abating, this beautiful 964 Coupe looks value today. Not only that these Carrera 4's are a great driving experience with sure footed handling and performance to match.
