Graphite and colored pencil drawing, untitled (landscape), attributed to Roy Lichtenstein (1923-1997). Signed with the artist's initials and dated '68 in the right hand margin. Approximate dimensions 7 x 10 inches. Unframed. Very good condition.

Provenance: Acquired by the consignor's family circa 1980-85 presumably from William Gatewood, who - it is believed - may have acquired the drawing directly from the artist. Gatewood was a well recognized and respected artist in San Francisco. Some of his works have been sold at Bonham's. Gatewood, who died in 1994, was friendly with the consignor's family. It remains unclear if the drawing was acquired by Gatewood directly from the artist or by a friend of Gatewood's.
