WWII Legion of Merit Medal Group awarded to Commander B. P. Charles of the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve, 1939-45 Star, France and Germany Star, Defence Medal, War Medal 1939-45, Coronation Medal 1953, Legion of Merit, Officer, complete with corresponding miniatures, Legion of Merit case, certificate of entitlement for the Legion of Merit and Coronation Medal 1953, further WWII postage box addressed to the recipient at the District Registry of the High Court Justice. Together with a Jubilee Medal 1935, Coronation Medal 1937 and further WWII Pair. White house citation records 'Commander B.P. Charles, Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve, was British Secretary of the Communications Board, Combined Chief of Staff, from September 1942 to April 1945. He greatly facilitated the work of the board and made a material contribution to the establishment of successful communications arrangements for the Allied military forces.'
