Adler was an important master of the modernist, constructivist poster style in the 1920’s and 1930’s. He belonged to the younger generation of the modernist poster artists. His designs were made for commercial products, such as Eg-Gü shoe cream and Senator Celofilter cigarette paper. He created a series of brilliant, colorful posters for “Frutti” candy. Some of his designs in the 1930's show the decorative approach of the Art Deco.
