Andrew Jackson: Rare Cuff Button. 3/8" x 5/8" brass clothing button with incuse or stamped design of a shield, three spears or arrows and the name "General Jackson" (with backwards "S"). Great condition and patina. Original shank. We cannot recall seeing a finer specimen. Very tight die-break or stress crack, as shown, of no consequence. Likely issued for the presidential campaign of 1828.
