Mahogany Cased Banjo Clock with eglomise panels depicting the War of 1812 Battle of Lake Erie, Perry's victory over the British fleet that led to peace, along with the American Eagle shield in gilt, weight driven brass time only movement with "Independence" riband. 32" tall. Losses to backing paint on eglomise, lower panel is cracked just into image.
