While stationed in Germany, Elvis was issued this military leave pass granting him permission for an overnight leave of absence to visit a “US Area of Interest” from noon on October 4 and ordering his return prior to midnight on the evening of October 5, 1958. The pass is signed by both Elvis Presley and his commanding officer. This pass, measuring approximately 8 3/4 by 11 inches (22 cm x 28 cm), was acquired directly from the estate of the retired military commander in whose possession this document had been since shortly after issue. The signature of the commanding officer is a heavily faded carbon copy signature. The Elvis signature is original as the commanding officer had requested Elvis hand sign each copy. The framed pass is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

Overall in good condition and in frame. Pass has creases typical of use and age.
