Description
A pair of flambé glazed Chinese guardian lions, or foo dogs, probably from the late Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). One lion is crouching, and the other is rising with its paw on a ball. Dimensions: crouching lion is 3-3/4" H x 5" W x 2-1/2" D; risen lion is 4-3/4" H x 5" W x 2-1/2" D.
Condition
Small chip on the tail of the risen lion, light soiling on the crouching lion
