Condition: The spines of both show signs of wear, with the top of Vol. II having tearing along the top. Pages show aged discoloration, with heavily discolored end pages and internal cover. History: So great was Praed's command of the English language that his works left a lasting impression on his University. Even today, the Praed Society functions on at Eton University, where Praed first began his career in writing with a manuscript in 1814.
