Description These banks all depict the world as it was known in 1950 or 1970. Their stands differ, but the designs are all relatively the same, with a coinslot just off from the center top.
Condition Minor paint losses along the seal between the two hemispheres of the globes, but otherwise good condition. The surface is faded with age, and the stands are prone to sticking, requiring more force to open the bottom.
History J. Chein & Company was an American toy manufacturer in business from 1903 through the 1980s. It is best remembered today for its mechanical toys made from stamped and lithographed tin produced from the 1930s through the 1950s
