This is a 1992 book by Ricky Spears titled Shooting Stars: Contemporary Glamour Photography.
Published in New York by Steweart Tabori & Chang. Printed on glossy paper. 153 full-page color and b/w photographs throughout.
A collection of striking contemporary glamour portrait photographs of today's movie icons - echoing those classic Hollywood portraits of the 1940s and 50s. The photographs were taken mostly between 1985 and 1991 by 63 different photographers of the likes of George Hurrell, Robert Mapplethorpe, Mary Ellen Mark, Sylvia Plachy, Bert Stern, Timothy White, and over 55 others. Includes biographies of all the photographers and full filmographies of all the stars.
SIZE: 9" x 10 3/4". 216 pages.
