A large broad terra sigillata bowl of Dragendorff type 29 with low foot; two decorative moulded bands to the shoulder and body, running swags of foliage above roundels with scrolled motifs, similar to decorative schemes found on early Augustinian silver plate. 664 grams, 23.5cm (9 1/4").
