Kills Thunder Beaded Bowl. Classic console size bowl which the noted artist, Kills Thunder, has faux painted the interior. Classic Native American geometric patterns surround the exterior in bright colors. Measures 10'' in diameter, stands 3.5'' high. Artist Bio: Kathleen Kills Thunder (her legal name) was born in 1947 in Seattle, WA. Her father, Ben Kills Thunder, was a Sioux Indian from the Fort Peck Indian Reservation in NE Montana. Her mother was Spanish/Irish. Kathy grew up shuttling back and forth between Seattle and the Colville Indian Reservation in NE Washington. Kathy has been painting and beading since she was six. She uses a bright color palette and prodigious imagination in creating her painted and beaded work. Kathy currently lives in SE Arizona and raises buffalo when she is not pursuing her artistic endeavors.
