A Rhodochrosite Specimen,
"04-15 Pocket", Tetrahedrite Drift, Sweet Home Mine, Alma, Colorado, United States,
collected in 2004 shortly before the famed mine was closed forever, consisting of a matrix plate with numerous pink to red rhombohedral rhodochrosite crystals measuring to approximately 2.00 cm, many with partial "frosting" to their faces, with a rich secondary overgrowth of sharply acicular quartz crystals.

Condition: Rhodo crystals have slight matte finish to some faces, minor to moderate (1 crystal moderate) edge wear, quartz crystals show scattered loss and/or breaks mid-crystal.
