Description
West Mexico, Nayarit region, Ca 300 BCE to 300 CE. Group of 7 stone pendants, 1 hematite and 6 from argillite. The hematite in nearly square shape, perfed for suspension and probably used as a mirror. 3 cm wide. The argillite pendants are of various shapes from crescent to rectangular. 3 to 11 cm long.
Provenance: Ex-Lynn Langdon collection acquired in the 1950's.
