Decorative collector’s piece of impressive size boasting a lavish carving work

This large Chinese dragon boat made of spinach green jade impresses due to its considerable size. The hull is fashioned in the shape of two dragons, whose heads form the bow. The scaly bodies are rendered with great detail. The superstructures are designed as pagodas with ornately curved rails. They are elaborately carved and partly openwork. Two large sails can be individually inserted. The boat stands on a matching wooden base.



The ship is in good condition. Some details show minor chips or losses. The height is 77 cm and length is 86 cm. The total weight amounts to approximately 16.8 kg.
