Description

20.5 Olympia Upright Disc Music Box. Large mahogany case with spindled gallery top, carved crest and turned finials, 2 doors with glass panels, pierced carved spandrels and turned columns at the corners, larger turned columns in the base, beveled inset panels with rope twist and filigree carved trim; crank and on/off knob on the right side and 8 shelf vertical disc storage rack in the base. Has a spring driven mechanism playing on duplex combs mounted on a gold painted iron bedplate, has 13 discs measuring 20.5 in. dia and is in good working condition. Case has an enhanced finish, coin operated mechanism is removed, finials are replaced and has a few small chips to the moldings and trim. 76.25 in. high x 29 in. wide x 18 in. deep.
